My wife told my eldest daughter that seder night was the night of questions, so she asked me if she could ask any question she wanted. I of course said sure, so she hit me with one out of left field. "Daddy, why did the prime minister fall asleep in the hospital for a very long time?" Talk about הוריני נא דרכך. My immediate response was because he was old and fat.
This morning I thought about a better response and I explained to her that we don't understand why hashem makes people sick.

first answer might be true, but I guess we need to try and keep our children safe from getting as synical and jaded as we all are.
