First they plant a fake bomb in the Central Bus Station, now they completely close off the Jewish Gaza Strip. The government is growing more insane everyday. Next thing you know they'll blame the right wing activists for blowing up Netanya.
Of course since throwing Jews has such a high priority to this government, they decided to remove the soldiers who were preventing terrorists from getting near Netanya and place them as a blockade for Jews trying to reach Jewish Settlements. Can you say Altalena?
What are the odds that Hizballah suddenly decides that when there are no soldiers on the border that it is a good time to attack? How about if Hamas wins the democratic elections and then declares war on Israel? Sounds idiotic? It is. Is it happening? It is.
Oh and here's the kicker. Let's invite the Egyptians to militarize the border again. Because they are our friends. Or Something. I have a better idea. Why don't we all just jump into the sea and drown like they've been trying to get us to do for 57 years.
Or we can protect ourselves and stop trying to prove to the whole world how stupid Jews really are.

My heart goes out to you in Israel. I heard about the attack 35 minutes after it happened.
CNN here in the US, FINALLY, devoted some time to the story. It is about time, because Jews in Israel have been living with these suicide bombs for more than 4 years. When it happens in London or in the US, it is top news. Israel, on the other hand, gets second billing.
I share your frustration, and my prayers and thoughts are with you.
May Israel know peace, and the Jewish people live without the horrors of war.
Even the brightest and toughest of Jews goes senile after a while. It's old age and it's hit the knesset like a ketusha rocket...hasn't killed anyone yet but it's making quite a ruckus...
Well, there is the fact that much more people would have been killed and injured had the &*&*(& actually gotten to the entrance to the mall. That's what good security's all about. (Central bus station incident not-withstanding) Effective in scaring the crap (or in this case, the life) out of an idiot who blew himself up just a weak after taking the Bagrut. What was he thinking? I mean, he passed!! I don't know anybody who gets that suicidal after not doing as well as they would have liked on the SAT's.
It's bad humor, I know. Hopefully, the 4 battalions that will be freed up after the disengagement will take care of the mess once and for all. In the meantime, I say we all get some guns and do our own security!! Who's with me?

If they're "freeing up" 4 battalions from Gaza now, they will probably need 6 after they move out.
It's not like they promised to behave if we leave. On the contrary, they have promised to escalate. Unless you plan on evacuating Ashkelon and all the surrounding areas and leaving a 50 mile buffer zone around Gaza.
Rock, I'm sorry that I have to ask. You don't have to answer if you don't want to. When you make posts like this, and you make a comment like that, from what military experience are you relating from? What military experience do you have?
-OC
I know you think you are the only one who talks to people in the military, but you forget everyone else here knows people in the military as well.
My sources are as good, if not better then yours.
Care to share?
No. But even if it's not pillow talk, it still counts as valid.
OK... Don't really know what you're trying to imply there.
